We've been hard at work on our SlingPlayer for Android tablets. When it becomes available it will be priced at $29.99, the same as all of our SlingPlayer for mobile device applications. The new app will take full advantage of the Android tablet's large display and the Android 3.0 platform to give you the most amazing picture quality.

Note: The SlingPlayer for Android tablets will only work with the Slingbox PRO-HD and Slingbox SOLO. Legacy Slingbox devices like the Classic, TUNER, AV and PRO do not have the hardware capability to stream at the Android tablet's higher resolution. This means t hat if you own a legacy Slingbox, you will want to upgrade it.

If you have already purchased SlingPlayer for Android phones, it will continue to work in “Compatibility Mode” at no extra charge. This version will not provide the higher quality resolutions of the Android tablet.
