Job Title: Product Project Manager – New York

Responsibilities
- Manage the product release cycle for a specific product division within Sling Media
Focus will be working with business, product and design resources
- Work directly with Project Sponsor and Product Lead to take a project from inception to deployment
- Create and maintain day-to-day schedule for all resources on the project
- Create task lists for team members
- Capture notes and details from all meetings
- Forecast resource or other conflicts and provide resolution plans
- Identify risk items and work with project sponsor on mitigation solutions
- Create and maintain resource utilization mechanism
- Provide various status reports on regular basis
- Effectively manage bug process
- Conduct regular check-point meetings with all team members participating on the project to identify resource allocation and road-blocks
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of project management experience
- Strong product and technical sensibilities
- Strong understanding of new media technologies involved
- Experience taking multiple projects through the project life cycle
- Familiar with open-source project management tools
- Experience working with remote and/or outsourced team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
