Sling Media is looking for top-notch iPhone Developers to join our high-performance team and help create the SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone application.
SlingPlayer Mobile provides one of the most robust mobile TV experiences across a range of smartphone platforms and devices. The iPhone Developers will be helping us extend the award-winning SlingPlayer Mobile user experience to one of the most advanced mobile platforms in the world.
The positions are contract-to-hire or full-time; we are flexible.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design and implementation of the SlingPlayer for iPhone user experience by collaborating with an overseas development team
- Implement most of the client application UI
- Work with Product Marketing to understand and prioritize requirements as well as to mitigate schedule risks
- Work with distributed QA teams and Product Marketing to problem-solve
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of MacOS X/ Objective-C and Cocoa development experience
- Experience developing on other mobile platforms such as Windows Mobile and Symbian highly desirable
- iPhone development experience highly desirable
- Experience implementing at least one app with client-hosted web views, Quicktime, or Flash
- Solid and proven knowledge of MacOS X WebKit, including WebKit plugins
- Excellent requirement/ problem analysis and debugging skills, together with creativity in solution formulation
- Proven ability to work and communicate effectively and efficiently with overseas development counterparts as well as across various functions including Product Marketing, QA, Beta, etc.
- Ability to operate in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong passion for mobile device technologies and user experience that delight our users
