Job Title: Staff Engineer / Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities
As lead engineer, you will be responsible for design, development and deployment of highly available and scalable, state of the art Multimedia Portals and Web services. You will be expected to technically mentor the junior members of the team and lead them to solve complex programming challenges.
Experience / Qualification:
- B.E/B.Tech and/or MS/M.Tech in Electronics or Computer Science.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing large scale web applications. This should include successfully shipping large scale, multi-release, high traffic and high availability web based or back-end J2EE applications.
- Excellent Communication with Teaming Skills
- Hands on knowledge of the J2EE stack and Java server side programming in a high volume large system / application environment including the availability, scalability, clustering, and performance design patterns.
- Practically applied OOAD Concepts and software development best practices such as Design By Contract, Design Patterns Etc.
- Understanding of the software development and deployment life cycle and methodologies.
- Strong technical leadership skills
Skills and work experience in the following areas is required:
- J2EE Containers and Application Servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere Etc)
- Databases (Preferably Oracle and MySQL)
- Java, J2EE (servlets) and JSP/Struts based development
- Web2.0 SOA Architecture and infrastructure
- Web Services, XML, XSL/T, SOAP, JAXB, XPath, etc.
- SQL, JDBC, Oracle/PL-SQL
- Hibernate, Spring framework, Log4j
