Slingbox Requirements:
Slingbox is required to use SlingPlayer for BlackBerry. Please make sure you have:
- Remote viewing enabled on the Slingbox
- Latest Slingbox firmware

- A PC or Mac on your home network with SlingPlayer installed for setting up Internet viewing on your Slingbox
- A high-speed (broadband) Internet connection of at least 250 Kbps upload speed at home

- A supported BlackBerry smartphone with 3G wireless service and/or Wi-Fi Internet connectivity, as well as with the following minimum device software versions. (To check your BlackBerry device software version, select Options from your home screen, then select About. Third line shows the device software version installed.)
- Bold 9700 – Minimum 5.0; Up to 5.x
- Bold 9000 – Minimum 4.6.0.0; Optimal at 4.6.0.167 to 5.x
- 8900 – Minimum 4.6.1.0; Optimal at 4.6.1.114 to 5.x
- 8820 – Minimum 4.5.0.0; Optimal at 4.5.0.110 to 5.x
