Recommended bandwidths for optimal video quality

If you're experiencing problems such as buffering, choppy video, flickering, or hanging, it could be that you don't have sufficient network bandwidth.

The table below gives the recommended bandwidths for HD, SD, and mobile streaming for each Slingbox model. For more information on how to determine your bandwidth, see the related articles below.

Note that if these minimums don't provide the viewing experience that you want, your setup might require more network bandwidth or computing power.

± These Slingbox models can accept high-definition (HD) connections, but only the Slingbox M1/M2, Slingbox 500, Slingbox 350, and Slingbox PRO-HD models can stream in HD.

†  These models do not accept high-definition (HD) connections, and therefore do not stream in HD.
