Need to change your password or add a Slingbox to your account?

It's all in your Sling Account.

Sling Accounts are a free feature that keep track of your Slingbox ID numbers (earlier-generation Slingbox models only), Slingbox passwords, and your Favorites lists (if supported by your version of SlingPlayer). By letting your Sling Account save all this info for you, it's even easier to connect to your Slingbox, no matter what computer or mobile device you're using.

You can manually create a Sling Account for your Slingbox devices. After you've done this, you can log in to your new Sling Account from SlingPlayer. As soon as you do, your Slingbox devices appear in the SlingPlayer Directory.

Creating a Sling Account

It's easy to create a Sling Account:

1. On your computer, go to https://accounts.sling.com

2. Create an account by following the onscreen instructions.

After you've created your Sling Account, you can easily connect to your Slingbox on your mobile device or your computer.

Adding a Slingbox to your Sling Account

To add an earlier-generation Slingbox to your Sling Account:

Note: Do this while you're at home so you can find your Slingbox ID.

1. First, use your computer to find your Slingbox ID:

1. Go to Watch on Slingbox.com.

2. Connect to your Slingbox.

3. Click Options to see (and copy) your Slingbox ID.

2. On your computer, open a browser window and create a new Sling Account, or log in to your existing one:
   
   https://accounts.sling.com

3. Click Slingbox Directory.

4. Click Add a Slingbox to add your new Slingbox to your Sling Account.

5. Where indicated, paste in your Slingbox ID.

If your Slingbox 350, Slingbox M1/M2, or Slingbox 500 does not show up in your Sling Account:

• Reset your Slingbox and run through the setup again.

Resetting a forgotten Sling Account password

To reset the password for your Sling Account:

1. Go to https://accounts.sling.com, and click Forgot your password?.

2. Enter your email address, and wait to receive an email with a verification code. Leave the Change your password page open until you receive the email.

3. Enter the verification code and new password and click Change password.

Changing your Sling Account password

To change the password for your Sling Account:

1. Go to https://accounts.sling.com and log in if you're not currently logged in.

2. Click Change password and enter your old and new passwords.

Changing your Sling Account email

To change your Sling Account email:

1. Go to https://accounts.sling.com and log in if you're not currently logged in.

2. Click Change email address and enter a new email address and password.
